This deal adds Netflix to the roster of platforms broadcasting professional football, which includes Amazon, NBCUniversal's Peacock, Fox, CBS, and NBC.
The NFL has not yet disclosed the teams for the Christmas Day games. The matchups for the 2024 season are being announced throughout the day.
Netflix has been exploring live sports streaming, previously hosting unique events in tennis, golf, and a boxing match featuring Mike Tyson and YouTube star Jake Paul.
Starting January 2025, Netflix will also become the home of WWE's weekly "Raw" series.................................
